UK travel attractions and excellent Gatwick UK taxi from airport provider? The pleasure palace of the infamously extravagant Henry VIII sits on the banks of the Thames in west London. Originally the home of Cardinal Wolsey in the early 16th century, Henry transformed it into a grand Tudor palace. In the heart of the palace lies the magnificent Great Hall, with its towering hammer beach roof and fine tapestries decorating the walls. Alongside the Great Hall, there are the impressive Great Kitchens which once served up to 1,600 meals a day and the palace’s gorgeous gardens. Stretching across the Humber estuary, this impressive bridge gained Grade I-listed status in 2018, 36 years after it opened. The 1.4-mile-long (2.2km) structure, that links Lincolnshire and Yorkshire on the A15, opened in 1981 and was the longest single-span suspension bridge in the world for 16 years.

A good old-fashioned caff. Since 1900 this workers’ café has provided carbs and protein in eggy, meaty and pan-fried form to the good people of east London. Traces of bygone eras, like art deco interior details and Formica tables have earned E Pellicci Grade II-listed status, but what diners love best is that the fry-ups, grills and Italian plates are still all dished up by the same family. As strange as it might sound, you’re going to want to chase down your fry-up with a helping of bread-and-butter pudding – it’s a customer favourite. Venue says We now offer call & collect, delivery and takeaway with Just Eat. Plus, feed the family with our Pellicci Family Favourite Fridge Fillers.
Displaying one of the most comprehensive collections of paintings in the world, the National Gallery is London’s second-most visited museum. The collections, which present an almost complete cross-section of European painting from 1260 until 1920, are especially strong in the Dutch Masters and the Italian Schools of the 15th and 16th centuries. In the Italian galleries, look for works by Fra Angelico, Giotto, Bellini, Botticelli, Correggio, Titian, Tintoretto, and Veronese, and especially for Leonardo da Vinci’s Madonna and Child with St. Anne and John the Baptist, Raphael’s The Crucifixion, and The Entombment by Michelangelo. In the German and Dutch galleries are works by Dürer, van Dyck, Frans Hals, Vermeer, and Rembrandt. Among artists from the 18th century through 1920, standout works are by Hogarth, Reynolds, Sargent, Gainsborough, Constable, and Turner. French works include those by Ingres, Delacroix, Daumier, Monet (including The Water-Lily Pond), Manet, Degas, Renoir, and Cezanne. See more information on Reading To Gatwick Taxi.
There’s no one official “best” park in London you absolutely shouldn’t miss. They’re quite spread out, so where you are staying or visiting within London may dictate which you visit, as you may not want to travel for hours just to sit on some grass! Many of the most well-known ones are west of the city, though if you fire up Google Maps you’re likely to see a green patch nearby, wherever you are in London. Some of the largest and most well-known green spaces in London are the eight Royal Parks of London. These are former royal hunting grounds, which the general public can now enjoy.

OH MY GOD. When you arrive in the South Terminal make a beeline for the bathrooms on the right just before you hit Boots and M&S. They are incredible! Basically each stall has its own sink, hand drier, and little storage area. They are HUGE. I’m 99.9% sure that some of them are bigger than most London apartments. I know it’s a little weird to be so impressed with a bathroom, but I have a tiny bladder so I always pay attention to them. Good job to whoever designed these! I loved the TV, it’s in the wall at the foot of the bed so it makes it super cosy and enclosed. You can book rooms for just 4hrs if you have a transfer, or as long as you need. Standard cabins start from £37 per night.
One way to do this is to pack a gun and declare it. Another alternative is to pack a toy pistol (still needs a declaration) but no license, of course! It actually does not get special treatment because it just needs to be securely locked. So it really does work in stopping the airport luggage thieves at least. But think twice about this if you are travelling from or to a state which has strict gun laws. Examples are New York, Hawaii, California and Illinois. You could end up in prison! You must be joking! Well, I am not actually, because there are passengers who prefer to do this, rather than stay at a hotel and get up at the crack of dawn. They are saving on the hotel bill. Also emergencies and bad weather may force you to have a long overnight layover. They say that London’s Stanstead airport looks like a refugee camp every night. People complain bitterly that there is not enough seating when they arrive at 10.p.m. If you decide this is for you, keep in mind the following tips. Read more details on airporttransfersonline.co.uk.
